The Texas Wheat Prodcuers Board collects a checkoff of $.02 for every bushel of wheat sold in the state. Those dollars are reinvested in a variety of programs including: research projects which help develop wheat varieties with increased yields and disease packages; activities to develop overseas markets; and educational materials, workshops and campaigns.

The Texas Wheat Producers Association is funded solely by membership dues and works to protect the future of Texas wheat production through legislative advocacy.
