Wheat farmers and the The National Festival of Breads will be featured on the nationally syndicated, quick-and-easy cooking program, Mr. Food on July 27 and July 28.
The July 27 program describes how wheat is produced, and the process it goes through before becoming flour and eventually, great-tasting bread. The July 28 program showcases the National Festival of Breads, which was held in Wichita June 17. The winning recipe, “Tomato, Basil, Garlic Filled Pane Bianco,” created by Washington, Illinois baker Dianna Wara, will be featured on that program.
