Each September, home bakers are invited to showcase their talents in the Texas Wheat Yeast & Quick Bread Contest held during the Tri-State Fair & Rodeo. The contest promotes home baking with the goal of increasing wheat consumption. Through the contest, participants and fair attendees are reminded of the delicious and nutritious world of wheat.
