Results from the 2025 College Station Cool Season Forage Trial place several oat varieties on top. Among the high-performing wheat varieties are the following: a TAM experimental line (HRW), AP Roadrunner (HRW), TAM 304 (HRW), and Amigos (HRW).
Texas Wheat annually invests in the Uniform Variety Trial program to provide unbiased comparisons of wheat varieties across all major wheat growing regions, support county extension outreach efforts, and better understand the key characteristics that influence varietal performance.
