The Texas Wheat Producers Board and Association has added two new staff members: Bailey Sipes as Director of Producer Relations and Kimberly Clark as Director of Outreach.

In her role as Director of Producer Relations, Sipes will manage Texas Wheat’s membership program and provide resources for farmers statewide. Additionally, Sipes will assist in coordinating Texas Wheat’s research objectives and crop quality promotion.

Sipes grew up on a multi-generation farm in Manter, Kansas where they grow and sell certified wheat seed. She recently earned a master’s degree in agricultural communications from Texas Tech University. Additionally, Sipes holds a bachelor’s degree in agricultural communications and journalism from Kansas State University.

“I am eager to step into the role of Director of Producer Relations at Texas Wheat. This opportunity combines my deep agricultural roots and my passion for supporting farmers,” said Sipes. “I look forward to working alongside dedicated producers, building meaningful connections, and serving as a resource to farmers across the state.”

As the Director of Outreach, Clark will oversee Texas Wheat’s communication and educational efforts, along with coordinating events and representing the organization across the wheat and agricultural industries. Additionally, she will coordinate the assessment program.

Clark comes from an agricultural background and grew up in Texline, Texas. She earned her bachelor’s degree in agricultural media and communications from West Texas A&M University. During her time at WTAMU, Clark spent the summer of 2017 interning at Texas Wheat. Clark also holds a master’s degree in agricultural communications from Texas Tech University.

“I am thrilled to return to Texas Wheat and combine my passion for agriculture and the wheat industry with my background in communication, marketing, and education,” said Clark. “I am deeply committed to Texas Wheat’s mission of helping Texas wheat producers, and I look forward to engaging with farmers and consumers throughout the state.”

The new hires follow a recent reorganization of Texas Wheat’s roles and job descriptions.

“I am confident that Bailey and Kimberly will bring fresh perspectives and renewed energy to our work here at Texas Wheat,” said Executive Director Steelee Fischbacher. “Their unique talents and backgrounds will strengthen our commitment to proudly serving Texas wheat farmers.”

The Texas Wheat Producers Board is a statewide board funded by a voluntary three cent per bushel checkoff program.
