The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will conduct “Commodity Outlook 2015″ from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Jan. 27 at the Castro County Expo, 405 S.E. 4th St. in Dimmitt.
“We’ll have talks on the 2015 agricultural commodity outlook to include international markets and the cash grain markets,” said Nancy Andersen, AgriLife Extension agent in Castro County. “Another highlight of interest to producers will be a presentation on the pros and cons of the new farm bill’s Agricultural Risk Coverage vs. the Price Loss Coverage, which producers must decide on in the coming weeks.”
Individual registration is $15 due upon arrival. The fee includes lunch. For more information, contact the AgriLife Extension office in Castro County at 806-647-4115.
