In 2023, the Wheat Foods Council joined forces with its agency of record, Boulder-based Sterling-Rice Group (SRG), a leading innovation and communications firm, to redefine the culinary landscape around wheat foods. This collaborative effort resulted in the development of over 150 cutting-edge wheat-based dishes, where wheat takes center stage as the hero ingredient.

The SRG Culinary Innovation Session brought together some of the brightest minds in the culinary world, fostering an environment of creativity and experimentation with different varieties of wheat. From artisanal bread to gourmet entrees to fast casual offerings, these recipes push the boundaries of traditional culinary norms, providing a fresh perspective on the incredible potential of wheat-based foods. Each recipe reflects a blend of innovation and taste, spanning across regions, cultures, and dayparts.

To share these inventive culinary creations with the foodservice industry, the Wheat Foods Council is pleased to announce the release of anĀ inspirational culinary brochure. Foodservice professionals can download the brochure from the Wheat Foods Council website, gaining exclusive access to detailed recipes, stunning visuals, and insights from the chefs themselves into the creative process.

“We are thrilled to unveil this innovative collaboration, which has allowed us to highlight diverse culinary opportunities using wheat foods. The wheat-based dishes in our brochure showcase the incredible potential of this versatile ingredient and underscore our commitment to promoting the goodness of wheat and its nutritional benefits. The release of this inspirational culinary brochure is a significant milestone, showcasing our dedication to informing and inspiring chefs and media, and through their reach, consumers, about the diverse and delicious wonders of wheat.” – Tim O’Connor, President of The Wheat Foods Council.
