Despite these setbacks, one Hard Red Winter and two Hard Red Spring wheat trials produced reliable data, giving farmers valuable information to compare varieties and make informed planting decisions.
Texas Wheat annually invests in the Uniform Variety Trial program to provide unbiased comparisons of wheat varieties and small grain silage across all major growing regions, support county extension outreach efforts, and better understand the key characteristics that influence varietal performance.
